APA to Present Technical Seminar at 2008 IWF

IWF 2008 Technical ConferenceAPA - The Engineered Wood Association, the Composite Panel Association (CPA) and the Hardwood Plywood and Veneer Association (HPVA) will present How to Use and Specify Structural Panels, Composites and Veneers at the 2008 International Woodworking Machinery and Furniture Supply Fair (IWF) in Atlanta on August 20, 2008.

In the seminar, representatives from the three leading wood products trade associations will present information on the applications and capabilities, specification and manufacturing, and environmental issues and emission requirements affecting structural panels, composite panels and hardwood veneer. Attendees will learn about standards and market requirements for physical and mechanical performance, environmental requirements and regulations, and how to match specifications with intended uses to maximize profitability. The two-hour seminar is targeted to shop personnel, designers, specifiers, purchasing managers, distributors, and architectural woodworkers.
