Website Navigation FAQs

My login isn’t working, how do I fix it?

Try to do a password reset first. The system will let you know if the email is not on file. If there is no email on file, try setting up a new account. Be sure to check your spam folders for account communication emails from APA.

I downloaded a product report last year, why isn’t it in my downloads section?

Our new system will be able to store that information, but historic downloads were not moved to the new system. Please download it again and if you experience a problem accessing it, let us know. Be sure to sign up for automatic alerts when publications are updated!

My job isn’t listed in the role-based pages, can I still use the site?

Yes, please feel free to use the site based on your technical needs. If you have suggestions for content that would be helpful for your role, let us know.

Can I get access to the member content if I’m not a member?

No, only APA member manufacturers can access this content.

I’m a member but can’t get into the site content. How can I get in?

Member access is strictly controlled. If you had a previous member account on our old site, please sign-in to the member portal to access. If you have not yet created an account, please create a new account with your member company email address. If you run into any issues through this process, please contact us and a member of our team will help you get access.

Can I see CEU credits from webinars I took last year?

Going forward you’ll be able to track and maintain your APA CEU’s and certificates of completion in your downloads and certifications area of the website when you create an account with us. However, we were unable to transfer past information over. If you need help tracking down a past certificate, please reach out to our team.

I found an error on the website, who should I tell?

Despite a rigorous quality process, we know sometimes things slip through the cracks. Please fill out this form and we’ll get it looked at right away.

A manufacturer product I want to use is not listed on your website. How do I access the product report?

If a product is not listed in our manufacturer directory, that means the product is not APA-certified and does not bear the trusted certification mark of APA. The only way to ensure products meet rigorous industry standards is to be sure they are certified by APA. APA certification means the product meets the industry standard AND that the facility where it is produced is independently inspected through an on-going quality assurance program. If you believe the product you are looking for is APA-certified but missing from the website, please reach out to Help Desk and they will verify for you.

I am trying to purchase a market research report from the store, but my login doesn’t work, how can I make a purchase?

Unfortunately, our shop and our web site require different logins today. Please just set up a separate account in the shop. With a shop account, you can save and redownload all your digital purchases at anytime from your account.

I am looking for my field rep’s contact information, it used to be on the site, how do I find it?

Our field team is now in-house and still available to answer all your technical engineered wood and application questions. Please reach out to the engineered wood experts that serve on the Help Desk team. Our Help Desk boasts engineers and engineered wood professionals so you can count on the information you receive. This is still a free service to the industry and you can expect a response from them in 1-3 business days.

How do I get CEU credits through the new webinar process?

APA streamlined how you access webinars and gain CEUs.

For on-demand webinars, navigate to the webinar you would like to view from our Online Courses page. Click to view the webinar on Zoom. You must watch the webinar to the end. Once the webinar concludes, you will receive a link in your email to take a brief knowledge quiz. Once you pass with a score of 70% or greater, your certificate of completion will be emailed to you. Make sure to check your spam folders for these emails.

For live webinars, click through on the webinar page to register for the event. You will receive a confirmation email from Zoom, as well as reminders leading up to the event, which contain links to join. Make sure to check your spam folders for these emails. Click the link to join the webinar at the scheduled time. You must watch the live webinar through to completion to get your certificate. Once the webinar concludes, your certificate of completion will be emailed to you.

If you are pursuing AIA credit, we urge you to create an account and save your AIA number, so APA can process the credit on your behalf.
