PWT President and CEO Jim Enright has been awarded the 2025 Bronson J. Lewis Award. Now in its 20th year, the award recognizes individuals for their leadership and outstanding contributions to the engineered wood industry. Enright received the award October 6 at the APA Annual Meeting in Phoenix. The award honors the late Bronson Lewis, who served as secretary and executive vice president of APA – The Engineered Wood Association for 24 years.
Enright devoted more than 28 years to the industry and is widely respected for his leadership, insight, and dedication. Beginning as an APA trustee in 2003, Enright went on to serve on APA’s board for more than 15 years, including eight as vice chair and three as chair. Over his long-standing service on the board, he has supported APA with focused leadership and wisdom, representing several APA member companies along the way. APA is grateful for his years of service and the lasting impact his leadership has had on the industry, association and its members.
“Jim’s record of leadership at APA speaks for itself. But his impact on the people and industry is why we are honoring him with this year’s Bronson Lewis Award,” said APA President Mark Tibbetts. “We want to thank him for his trust, mentorship and guidance that have shaped our industry over the years.”
With a background in corporate strategy, finance, operations, and market development, Enright played a pivotal role in expanding sales and marketing in residential, commercial, and DIY construction. Over the course of his career, he has held key roles at organizations such as WoodWorks – Wood Products Council, Willamette Industries, Rosboro, Standard Structures and Murphy Company. “There’s really no one more deserving of this prestigious award than Jim. His longtime dedication and ongoing contributions have left a lasting impact on APA and the industry — an impact that will be remembered for years to come,” said Jeff Wagner, former APA Board of Trustees Chair.
