Jackson Hole Airport

The Jackson Hole Airport expansion and renovation presented a unique engineering challenge: nearly double the facility's footprint to 116,000 square feet while honoring an 18-foot height restriction within Grand Teton National Park. The design team turned to engineered wood—primarily glulam beams, trusses, and purlins paired with solid-sawn Douglas-fir columns and tongue-and-groove ash wood ceilings—to achieve the long spans, structural integrity, and refined aesthetics the project demanded.
