ESR Joint Evaluation Report

Joint ICC-ES – APA Product Evaluation Report ESR-1053 verifies that West Fraser Structural Composite Lumber: 1.7E, 1.55E, 1.35E Durastrand® Laminated Strand Lumber (LSL), and 1.5E, 1.3E, 0.8E Durastrand® Oriented Strand Lumber (OSL) meets the requirement of applicable model building codes and recognized industry standards.

APA – The Engineered Wood Association is a widely recognized, accredited organization with a long-standing role in conducting product testing and providing inspection, evaluation and certification services. International Code Council Evaluation Service (ICC-ES) provides trusted evaluations to ensure building products and materials meet code requirements. Joint ICC-ES – APA Product Evaluation Reports have been evaluated and approved by both APA and ICC-ES, documenting the product’s compliance to applicable building codes and standards, providing building officials, engineers and design professionals with clear and reliable evidence of structural performance.  

ESR-1053 outlines applicable design properties, qualification criteria and installation guidance required for confident specification and approval, helping ensure the proper and conforming use of the product in building applications. This joint product evaluation report also lists all applicable building codes and standards that served as the evaluation scope of the product’s evaluation.
